Between chapters of Harlowe, I’m hard at work on my next big project, the start of what I’m hoping will be a very long-running science fiction series! The first story will serve as an introduction to the world at large, and I’ve been working on concepts and background material, so here’s a sneak peek at one of the species that populate this future: The sevaar, a pseudo hive intelligence that have only recently joined the galactic community, and have rapidly become an invaluable member due to their ability to share memories and knowledge among members of their hive- having one sevaar serving on your ship gives you access to the skills and knowledge of their entire hive, and in return, the hive can explore the galaxy around them through the vicarious experiences of one of their members.
