029: A Vicious Cycle

I have mixed feelings about the Netflix Cowboy Bebop (a sentence that would have blown 2018-me’s mind)

I don’t think it was BAD, per se, but it’s certainly a bad adaptation. I’ve never understood the impulse to create a reboot of something, but use it as a springboard to tell your own story. If you want to tell your own story, then do so, but don’t muck up somebody else’s work doing it.
