012: Good Intentions

Somebody asked me why Newt never put his hood up. I hope you’re happy now, you monster!

After the rage-inducing backgrounds on the Equilibrium Man comic, this one has the first appearance of a more painted background style! I’d vacillate (and still do) over how to do backgrounds for this comic for a very long time to come, this is one I’m still not 100% on, but I’d love to revist.
