004: It’s A Valid Reason

I love the joke in this strip, but hot damn the shading makes no sense in the first two panels.

Back in 2018, I was drawing with Paint Tool Sai, and while I did eventually learn how to make even rectangular frames, my bizarre insistence on only using part of the page lingered for an unreasonably long time- 26 seems to be the last comic with this odd stylistic… choice.

There’s a reason we don’t see the back of Wolfe’s head very often.
